• Real project photos or videos have been submitted • A customer review has been collected directly • Customer contact may be used as part of our verification process. • Project details (type of work, location, unique elements) align with submitted media • The trade has a clear business identity and defined service area
We cross-reference available information — including media, scope of works, location and unique aspects of the job — to ensure reviews and projects shown are consistent and legitimate to the best of our knowledge.
Verification focuses on authenticity of representation, not performance grading.
Privacy & Review Submission
We respect customer privacy.
Reviews may appear publicly with limited identifying details (for example, first name or general area), even where verification has involved direct contact behind the scenes.
We do not publish anonymous reviews and take reasonable steps to confirm authenticity where appropriate.
BuildCred Verified status is based on reasonable confidence in the authenticity of submitted work and reviews. Where clear misrepresentation or falsified information is identified, Verified status may be withdrawn.
What Reviews Appear
BuildCred reviews don’t sit hidden on a separate directory.
They appear in the same space where potential customers are already looking at a trade’s work — typically shared on social media in collaboration with the trade.
That’s intentional.
