1. Overview

BuildCred is a platform designed to help tradespeople showcase their work, collect real reviews, and grow their business through social proof and digital exposure.

2. Eligibility and Account Use

You must be at least 18 years old and operate as a tradesperson or in a related field.
You agree that all information you provide is accurate and up-to-date.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

3. Project Submission and Conduct

You agree to only add legitimate projects with real customers.
You may be asked to provide additional verification if requested by BuildCred (e.g. via spot checks).
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any information, content, or media you submit to the platform is accurate, truthful, and representative of your work and services.

4. Customer Data Entry and Responsibility

By entering customer information into BuildCred (e.g. name, email, phone number, postcode), you confirm that:

You have a lawful basis to share that data (such as customer consent or legitimate interest).
You have informed the customer that their data will be securely stored and may be used by BuildCred for purposes such as review requests, showcasing completed projects, or generating content.
BuildCred will act as a data processor and only use this customer data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You will not upload sensitive personal data (e.g. financial, health, or security-related information) about customers.

5. Sharing Your Content

You grant BuildCred a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and share any content you upload (e.g. project photos, videos, testimonials) for marketing, promotional, and platform-related purposes.
We may showcase your work via social media, newsletters, and other materials to promote BuildCred and your business.

6. Partner Offers and Advertising

BuildCred may send occasional emails or messages regarding relevant offers or partner services.
You agree to receive such communications, which you can opt out of at any time.

7. Feedback and Early Access Use

You acknowledge that the platform is in active development and may contain bugs or errors.
We may use anonymised feedback for product improvement or marketing purposes.

8. Free Trial and Future Pricing

BuildCred may offer a free trial period to new users, which is subject to change or removal at any time.
After the trial, access to the platform or certain features may require payment.
Any pricing, billing cycles, and features included in paid plans will be clearly communicated in advance.
All payments will be processed securely through recognised third-party providers.
All payments are final unless required by applicable law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

BuildCred is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees of specific outcomes or business performance.

We process customer data submitted by trades solely to:

Request reviews via SMS or email

Promote completed projects (only with consent)

Customer data is never made public without their explicit agreement.

If you choose to subscribe to any future paid plans, your payment details will be processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card details.
